TheRole An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor andcloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. Asa trusted advisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping ourcustomers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craftand execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use ofAWS services. This includes a range of products including EC2, S3,DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT and manymore. Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the mosticonic businesses in the country. These range from rising startupsbuilding their business from scratch through to large enterprisesgoing through significant transformation. You’ll provide advice onarchitecture, support strategy, project and launch planning as wellas ongoing operational issues. Key job responsibilities 1. You’lladvise on solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate forthe customer 2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationallyhealthy whilst reducing cost and complexity 3. Develop trustingrelationships with customers, understanding their business needsand technical challenges 4. Using your technical acumen andcustomer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regardingincidents, trade-offs, and risk management 5. Consult with a rangeof partners from developers through to C-suite executives 6.Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers,Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers 7.With a bias for action, youll proactively find opportunities forcustomers to gain additional value from AWS 8. Provide detailedreviews of service events, monthly & quarterly metrics,detailed pre-launch planning 9. Solve a variety of problems acrossdifferent customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud10.
