Technical Account Manager, ES - EMEA-SMB An AWSTechnical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operationsarchitect for our Enterprise Support customers. As a trustedadvisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping our customers gainthe most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and executestrategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWSservices. You will provide advocacy and strategic technicalguidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, andproactively keep your customers’ AWS environments operationallyhealthy. The close relationships developed with your customers willallow you to understand their business/operational needs andtechnical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value fromAWS. Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the mosticonic businesses in the country. These range from rising startupsbuilding their business from scratch through to large enterprisesgoing through significant transformation. You’ll provide advice onarchitecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning aswell as ongoing operational issues. AWS Sales, Marketing, andGlobal Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue,adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small-and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers includingpublic sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leadingcompanies and believes that world-class support is critical tocustomer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list ofcustomers that are building mission-critical applications on top ofAWS services. Key job responsibilities 1. You’ll build solutions,provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer 2. EnsureAWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing costand complexity 3. Develop trusting relationships with customers,understanding their business needs and technical challenges 4.Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drivetechnical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and riskmanagement 5. Consult with a range of partners from developersthrough to C-suite executives 6. Collaborate with AWS SolutionsArchitects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants,and Sales Account Managers 7. With a bias for action, youllproactively find opportunities for customers to gain additionalvalue from AWS 8. Solve a variety of problems across differentcustomers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud 9. Upliftcustomer capabilities by running workshops and other enablementsessions.
