Senior Data Analyst, Experience Insights

About the role

As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in Treatwell’s Analytics function, with a focus on supporting the Product domain across our 13 markets.

You’ll be our first dedicated product analytics hire—giving you the unique opportunity to shape the experimentation culture at Treatwell, define how we scale product analytics, and influence the future of the discipline.

Beyond your core work with Product, you’ll help raise the bar across the wider analytics team by mentoring others on experimentation frameworks and best practices. Acting as an educator, coach, and evangelist, you’ll empower teams to run unbiased A/B tests, choose the right methodologies for learning, and make confident, data-led product decisions.

You’ll own the full test-and-learn programme - designing the methodology, setting up the tooling, and leading experiment analysis. You’ll also collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance to prioritise high-impact projects, size opportunities for new features, and ensure behavioural insights directly inform product strategy.

We work in a Kanban-style setup, with regular backlog reviews where you’ll pitch ideas, prioritise them with stakeholders, and lead delivery in a cross-functional team. This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role for someone who’s hands-on, proactive, and excited to grow the product analytics function from the ground up.

You will be responsible for:

  • Design and lead a robust test-and-learn programme, including experimentation strategy, tooling, and rigorous A/B test analysis.
  • Evangelise experimentation best practices across the business and train cross-functional teams in product analytics.
  • Own product event orchestration and implementation in Mixpanel, ensuring consistent and insightful tracking.
  • Deliver clear, actionable behavioural insights to drive product and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance to size opportunities and assess the potential impact of new product initiatives.
  • Translate business challenges into analytical questions and data needs.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a product analytics role, ideally within a two-sided marketplace.
  • Deep expertise in A/B testing, experimentation design, and causal inference.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms - ideally GrowthBook.
  • Extensive Mixpanel experience, including event design, orchestration, and implementation via a Customer Data Platform.
  • Proficient in SQL (Redshift environment) and Python or R.
  • Strong statistical knowledge and experience applying it in real-world product contexts.
  • Experience with Looker or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Familiar with opportunity sizing, forecasting product impact, and collaborating closely with Finance teams.
  • Confident communicator who can simplify complex ideas and influence decision-makers.
  • Passionate about fostering a data-driven culture and levelling up others through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • A STEM or quantitative degree is a plus.
  • You are a fluent/native English speaker.
  • You are open to work in a hybrid setup (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) in our London office (SIX, 6, St Andrew Street, London, EC4A 3AE).

Machine Learning Jobs Skills Radar 2026: Emerging Tools, Frameworks & Platforms to Learn Now

Machine learning is no longer confined to academic research—it's embedded in how UK companies detect fraud, recommend content, automate processes & forecast risk. But with model complexity rising and LLMs transforming workflows, employers are demanding new skills from machine learning professionals. Welcome to the Machine Learning Jobs Skills Radar 2026—your annual guide to the top languages, frameworks, platforms & tools shaping machine learning roles in the UK. Whether you're an aspiring ML engineer or a mid-career data scientist, this radar shows what to learn now to stay job-ready in 2026.

How to Find Hidden Machine Learning Jobs in the UK Using Professional Bodies like BCS, Turing Society & More

Machine learning (ML) continues to transform sectors across the UK—from fintech and retail to healthtech and autonomous systems. But while the demand for ML engineers, researchers, and applied scientists is growing, many of the best opportunities are never posted on traditional job boards. So, where do you find them? The answer lies in professional bodies, academic-industry networks, and tight-knit ML communities. In this guide, we’ll show you how to uncover hidden machine learning jobs in the UK by engaging with groups like the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), Turing Society, Alan Turing Institute, and others. We’ll explore how to use member directories, CPD events, SIGs (Special Interest Groups), and community projects to build connections, gain early access to job leads, and raise your professional profile in the ML ecosystem.

How to Get a Better Machine Learning Job After a Lay-Off or Redundancy

Redundancy in machine learning can feel especially frustrating when your role was technically advanced, strategically important, or AI-facing. But the UK still has strong demand for machine learning professionals across fintech, healthtech, retail, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and generative AI. Whether you're a research-oriented ML engineer, production-focused MLOps developer, or applied scientist, this guide is designed to help you bounce back from redundancy and find a better opportunity that suits your goals.
