Job Title: Senior Data Insight Analyst

Location: Peterborough (hybrid working)

Role Overview

Markerstudy Group are looking for an experienced Data Insight Analyst to join a fast growing company in developing ambitious solutions across a range of insurance lines, by leveraging vast data assets and state-of-the-art processing capabilities.

As a Data Insight Analyst, you will use your advanced analytical skills to:

Deliver outstanding and actionable customer insights

Have responsibility for providing insights and support the building data products that helps shape Markerstudy’s strategic roadmaps and customer propositions

Support the delivery, maintenance and ongoing support of the Data Insight and Enrichment integration strategy across the group

Work collaboratively with other areas to increase overall company performance

Your ideas and solutions will enable improvements to products, prices and processes giving Markerstudy a critical advantage in the increasingly competitive insurance market.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the build and maintenance of our core data product capabilities of in areas of debt, affordability, claims, pricing, customer personalisation and our customer service contact centre.

Support the delivery of analytics to the business via analysis, testing, modelling, profiling, and reporting.

Investigate data and analytical initiatives to deliver market-leading broker insight offerings.

Identify and fulfil new data-driven opportunities.

Continue to review and optimise our data product suite through actionable insight and recommendations.

Design, deliver and maintain data insight and enrichment analytics solutions.

Support junior members of the team with your experience in data science and analytics.

Build up network across commercial data, pricing, and wider teams.

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous demonstratable Data Science / Analytics Experience in a business environment

Strong maths / related science degree or demonstratable commercial experience

Passionate and curious about data. Loves solving problems

Strong communication skills and the ability to “story-tell” to our stakeholders and customers, making it relevant to your audience

Selfless when it comes to sharing findings, experience and advice. We work as a team not separate individuals!

Proficient in R/Python/Sql or other coding stacks

Resilience, can work independently to deliver projects

Proactively share insights, results and identify risks, without prompting

Proficient at communicating results in a concise manner both verbally and written

Desirable

Hands-on experience in the cloud platform and tools (i.e. Azure, AWS, Databricks)

Insurance or financial services experience

Knowledge and awareness of the latest tools, techniques and technology across the analytics marketplace
