We are now ready torecruit a Lead Data Analyst to manage the growing team of DataAnalysts who all play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategyacross the Saga Brands.As the Lead Data Analyst, you will bementoring a team of talented data analysts, up to 6 individuals andalso driving the development of all our analytic solutions. Yourprimary responsibility will be to harness the power of data toextract meaningful insights, inform strategic decisions, andcontribute to the overall success of the organisation.  Wework in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. Whenyou do come into the office, it’ll be with a real purpose in mind –to meet with your team, to work together, and of course tosocialise and celebrate too!  Role Responsibility TeamLeadership: Provide team and technical leadership. Manage, mentorand develop a team of data analysts, provide guidance on bestpractices, foster high-performance culture, and ensure efficientdelivery of analytical solutions. Data Analysis and Interpretation:Develop and Oversee the analysis of large datasets to identifytrends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to businessobjectives and customers journeys across our business units.Reporting and visualisation: Develop and deliver clear andimpactful reports and visualisations to communicate key findings tostakeholders. Ensure that reports and dashboards are insightful andalign with business objectives. Collaboration with Stakeholders:Working closely with business stakeholders and technical colleaguesto understand analytical requirements and integrate insights intoexisting workflows & applications. Communicating effectivelywith both technical and non-technical counterparts. Data Qualityand Governance: Ensure the quality and integrity of data used foranalysis, implementing and maintaining data governance bestpractices. Collaborate with IT and data teams to resolve dataquality issues. Agile ways of working: Demonstrate experience inworking in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning,and adapting to changing priorities. Continuous improvement: Stayabreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and bestpractices in data analytics. Bring the most relevant ones back toSAGA and find ways to implement them to unlock business value.TheIdeal CandidateYou will have already gained experience as anAnalytics Manager with both people management skills anddashboarding skills for business growth strategies. You will alsoneed to demonstrate the following skills and experience;  Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency instatistical analysis and data visualization tools. Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to convey complex analyticalconcepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, andvisualization tools like Tableau. Have previously worked in anagile development environment, with a focus on iterative andcollaborative project delivery. A curious nature, with the drive tolearn and master new tech and methods. Communication – Working withtechnical and non-technical counterparts, facilitating effectivecollaboration and resolution. Problem Solving – Analyse complexdata challenges, identify solutions and implement effectivestrategies. Project Management – Ability to manage and deliver dataengineering projects on time, to high standards.Desirable; Hold aBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such asStatistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics. Alreadybe seen as a credible Data Analyst Manager with a track record ofsuccessful project delivery and team leadership.
