SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere Consultant

£64,792 - £68,202 per year

We are seeking twoSAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere Consultantsto join our team based in Worcester.This job sits within Technology which is responsible for delivering technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties.
The role of Lead Data Analyst will include:
- Engaging and collaborate with business stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Producing and maintain metadata (including relationships, calculation logic etc.) and documentation to accompany data models using data modelling tools
- Effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of data service improvements in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner
- Developing data pipelines and solutions that include data capture and data flow / transformation to integrate data from multiple systems and make it easily available for analysis in cloud
- Managing and designing data visualisation and dashboarding tools consuming SAP/ Non-SAP data, such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Deep understanding of the SAP Analytics Cloud platform, including data modelling, reporting, and visual presentations
- Ability to lead and conduct SAC projects, including requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, and post-go-live support
- Promoting innovation, best practice and continual improvement across the team and support the research of new technologies and their suitability for the Group, in order to develop and support business cases for all data initiatives
- Ensuring data pipelines and analytics workloads are proactively monitored for uptime, compliance, governance and quality and that alerts are managed and remediated when there is an issue
Skills and experiences:
- Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification - SAP Analytics Cloud certification
- Diploma in Business Analysis or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
- SAP Analytics tools (e.g. SAP Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere certified or equivalent experience
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
- At least 1 full implementation of designing and developing analytic applications using SAP Analytics Cloud
- Proven understanding of SAP data structures in modules within ECC, S/4HANA and/or other cloud products
- Working knowledge of data management and good practice principles
- Substantial experience of analysing, diagnosing and resolving data integration issues
- Proven experience in managing large scale data migration projects

- Role salary is £53,134 with an additional policy allowance of £11,657 per annum (rising to £55,931 with an additional policy allowance of £12,271 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
