Our client a public sector organisation, are on the hunt for a Digital Product Analyst / Data Analyst to join a newly created team, reporting directly into the Digital Product Manager. You will gather and analyse data to provide insights on user behaviour and product performance, helping to inform design and development decisions. You will also monitor key performance indicators and collaborate with various teams to ensure the product meets user needs and business goals.

Key Accountabilities include;

Data Analysis:

  • Collect and analyse data from various sources, including user interactions, surveys, and system logs. Identify trends and patterns etc.,
  • Use statistical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerBI) to interpret complex data sets.

User Research:

  • Design and conduct user research studies, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.

Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and designers, to gather and document product requirements

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on product performance, user research findings, and market analysis.

Performance Monitoring

Monitor the performance of digital products using analytics tools.

Collaboration

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on product performance, user research findings, and market analysis.

Product Development

  • To provide advice, guidance, and basic one-to-one training in the use of the digital products processes when required

Key Working Relationships

  • The role requires strong communication with staff at all levels within the providing IT support and guidance

Your Background

  • You will come from a Data Analysis background, with ideally Prince2 or Agile experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running and work in a fast pace efficient environment.
  • Relevant professional or equivalent experience (Microsoft, ITIL, Google Analytics, PowerBI etc.,)
  • Familiarity of Product Analysis tools
