I am searching for a number of Data Analysts for an initial 12 Month Fixed-Term contract to work on one of most ambitious digital transformation programmes being conducted in England and Wales currently.

You will be joining a high-performing Data Engineering Team, and you will be driven, hands-on and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.

The role is offered on a fully remote basis, however, if you do want to come into the office our client is happy to allow hybrid working - they have offices in Exeter and Reading.

To be considered for the role you MUST have strong Excel skills (these will be tested early in the interview process) - you will also have excellent attention to detail.

You will be working closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Project Managers and internal/external stakeholders, therefore you MUST be a good communicator to be considered for the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst or a GIS Analyst who has expertise in data manipulation, with strong Excel skills and some knowledge of Geospatial Data/GIS - any experience of SQL, FME or QGIS (or similar) is a distinct bonus!

Duties

In this role you will be analysing large complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that inform business to make technical decisions.
You will be supporting data quality initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities for improvements in data, ensuring no data is lost or duplicated.
Your first assignment is going to be working on a project that is expected to run until 2028, helping to modernise Local Authority Land Charge Registers across England and Wales.
You will be supporting the overall data transformation programme assisting and working with a number of assigned Local Authorities - assisting them with their source data, helping to translate it into a common and defined schema working on multiple datasets whilst ensuring accuracy and data quality is maintained.
