iO Associates have aligned with a global engineering leader delivering innovative solutions in infrastructure, environment, mining, and clean energy in search for experienced Data Engineer to build and optimise scalable data solutions using the Microsoft Azure stack (ADF, Synapse, SQL, Functions). Ideal for someone with strong data engineering, cloud architecture, and enterprise systems experience.

Responsibilities:

Design & implement ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory Develop data models & warehouses using Azure Synapse & SQL Build scalable data processing with Azure Functions Create interactive dashboards with Power BI Ensure data quality, security & compliance

Requirements:

5+ years' Data Engineering experience Strong hands-on expertise: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Functions Proficiency in SQL, ETL & data modelling Knowledge of cloud data architecture & DevOps/CI-CD Excellent problem-solving & communication skills Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Engineer / Solutions Architect) - desired Experience with Python, governance & compliance (GDPR, ISO) - desired
