Who We Are

Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains our water supply systems, handles emergencies like water bursts, and develops new ways to better serve our customers. We offer various roles, from frontline operational work to project management and data analysis. IMRDS is part of the Embedded Alliance within Anglian Water, working alongside other organisations for skill-sharing and using the best people for the job.

What Will You Be Doing as a Street Works Data Analyst?

As a Street Works Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, challenging invalid charges, and improving the accuracy of street works data. Your analytical skills will support validation, reporting, and payment processes that ensure Anglian Water only pays what it should, and your collaborative approach will strengthen relationships with highway authorities and alliance partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and challenge street works fines in line with relevant legislation (e.g., NRSWA, TMA).
  • Raise and process purchase orders for street works, inspections, and traffic regulation orders.
  • Reconcile monthly permit and lane rental charges to ensure payment accuracy.
  • Manage and report on budget data, accruals, and withholdings.
  • Ensure accurate SAP coding and timely payment of fines and associated charges.
  • Gather and analyse data to support root cause investigations.
  • Maintain accurate updates across relevant street works systems.
  • Collaborate with highway authorities, commercial teams, and alliance partners.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, methodical, and proactive in improving processes.
  • Comfortable working across systems including SAP and Microsoft Office.

A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience, and Behaviours…

  • Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) - Essential.
  • Experience in finance or data analysis - Essential.
  • Previous use of SAP - Desirable.
  • Familiarity with street works legislation and systems - Desirable.
  • Background in utilities or public sector compliance - Desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and keen to take ownership of tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
