Senior Developer - Data & AI

I'm working with a successful financial advisory firm based in Central London that has recently launched a new Technology & Innovation function as part of a wider digital transformation programme. The business is now looking for a Senior Developer with strong Data Engineering and AI experience to help shape its future direction.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas:

Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions
Build and optimise data models and databases to support advanced analytics
Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency across the business
Extract and deliver commercial insights from varied data sources to support decision-making
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices across the development lifecycle
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business in a highly visible, hands-on roleTo be successful in the role you will have:

Proven experience in Data Engineering, including database design and modelling
Hands-on experience building AI capabilities and deploying models
Strong Python development skills
A solid understanding of automation and its impact on business processes
Experience mentoring or leading others in a technical environmentIn this role, you'll be required to attend the Central London office three days per week, with the remaining time spent working remotely. Some of the benefits included with the role are listed below:
