We have over 150 branches across England and Wales as well as our Support Office in Alcester, Warwickshire. We’re now looking for a People Data Analyst to join our team in Alcester.
In this role you will be working as a key member of the People Team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, insightful, and timely data analysis that supports business decision-making within Helping Hands. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, ensuring their data needs are met accurately and on time.
Main Responsibilities
- Scope and define data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment with business needs.
- Transform and model data to create efficient, reliable, and reusable datasets within the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with senior analysts for quality assurance to refine outputs and ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Proactively identify and solve data-related problems to ensure smooth workflows and maintain data quality across the organisation.
- Search for and validate data fields across systems to ensure all data used is relevant, accurate, and complete for analysis.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in basic SQL (joins, filters, group by), an understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Power BI), and data visualisation principles are essential. Experience in data analysis, particularly with HR data, managing analytical projects, and sourcing data independently is vital. Desirable skills include advanced Excel, troubleshooting data pipelines, learning new tools (e.g., Matillion), advanced SQL concepts, knowledge of data governance, Power BI expertise, and familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.
