Job Title: Asset Data Analyst

Location: Durrington (Worthing) Hybrid

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours a week (part time will be considered)

Salary: Up to £38,500 DOE

During a time of huge transformation at Southern Water, we are looking to improve data capture and work towards being a data-led organisation.

A new asset management software is in the process of being rolled out, and you will be joining the team at the beginning of this journey.

Job Overview

The main purpose of this role is working to improve the data quality from operational sites; making sure operational staff are utilising the available software and entering data accurately.

You will be working with both operational site asset data and below ground infrastructure asset data, along with stock assets. As well as analysing performance and quality data you will be helping develop processes to enable a continuous improvement model.

Day to day you will be:

  • Extracting data

  • Undertaking data quality checks

  • Preparing data for new software releases

  • Analysing data trends and looking at where work can be improved or areas of underperformance

  • Liaising with operational stuff to ensure data is captured correctly

    About You

    You will be an experienced Data Analyst, with experience of asset management and dealing with data in this area including the use of a relevant asset management system, such as Maximo. This role is reliant on you communicating effectively and building relationships with operational staff all over our region.

    You will be:

  • Experienced Data Analyst (in asset management)

  • Excellent people person and communicator

  • Able to build relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Ideally experience with an asset management system such as Maximo

    Package

    This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington (Worthing) office and home. We operate a flexible hybrid working model, with 2 days in the office and 3 from home. Part time hours will be considered.

    We are offering a salary of up to £38,500 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
