One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Data Analyst on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

  • Lead, manage and motivate the team to deliver high performance

  • Ensure that corporate/departmental people practices are understood and implemented within your service

  • Effectively manage budgets and projects within your service ensuring effective cost management and prioritisation

  • Monitor and evaluate your team’s performance and recommend areas for improvement based on evidence

  • Coach and support staff to develop

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and escalate any budget risks

  • Set and monitor individual and team performance standards

  • Constructively challenge and take action with pace where there are performance shortfalls

  • Ensure that clear team and individual goals are in place and communicated

  • Implement service improvement plans to time and budget

  • As the lead Technical Adviser, to support the operation of the Housing Asset Management Strategy and oversee its implementation, monitoring progress and reporting to the Building Safety and Asset Information Manager

  • Support the delivery of stock condition surveys and major works programmes and manage the data which flows from them

  • To be responsible for the supervision and management of the asset data analysis team including data entry, analysis and reporting, recruitment, training, motivation and career development, and also to promote the team’s data management work within the context of a developing service, where priorities and responsibilities are rapidly changing.
