About the role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead and deliver critical data analysis, supporting IT in migrating our operations and finance workstreams from Oracle EBS into Oracle Fusion on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

Reporting into the Group Data and Analytics Director, and working directly with the Liverpool implementation lead, this role is pivotal to the success of our transformation programme and will involve hands-on ownership of data cleansing, enrichment, as well as supporting migration activities. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a hybrid basis, with at least two days a week on site in Liverpool.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the core IT team to support end-to-end data migration activities, including ETL process and post-migration validation.
  • Engage with stakeholders across operations and finance to understand data requirements and resolve complex data challenges.
  • Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Own and manage the cleansing and enrichment of data sets, working with business users to address issues.
  • Collaborate with the project lead, site SMEs, and the core IT team to define migration strategies and cutover plans.
  • Responsible for development and execution of migration scripts ready for FBDI imports.
  • Provide and present clear reporting on migration progress, risks, and issues. With responsibility for taking remedial action when risks arise.
  • Create detailed reports with visualisation to demonstrate the volumes of data to migrate and where applicable, the scope of issues to resolve.


About you

  • Proven track record of delivering at least 3 full data migrations in ERP projects.
  • Strong experience with complex operational and financial data, in large scale ERP programmes & data volumes.
  • Demonstrated ownership of data cleansing and enrichment activities in an Oracle environment.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database with migration to other databases.
  • Additional experience within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is desirable.
  • Understanding of manufacturing business processes, ideally within process manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical information into easily understood business insights.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
