W Hotel's work culture is uniquely designed to spark your imagination and curiosity while bringing the W experience to life for guests.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager at W Edinburgh will work in close collaboration with senior leaders throughout the property to deliver our marketing strategy.As Marketing Manager, key aspects of your role will include:Execute the annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Rooms, Operations leaders, Director of Marketing, and cluster marketing and ecommerce teams.Partner with Operations, Beverage & Food and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.Manage Beverage & Food media schedules and verify the prompt settlement of accounts.Execute email marketing and display advertising.Maintain frequent, active engagement with Cluster eCommerce Manager to verify alignment, pull-through, and 2-way communication about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives.Verify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.Facilitate social media engagement and update content in local digital channels (e.g., hotel website, travel sites).Develop and execute promotions campaigns in Beverage & Food, Spa, Rooms and Meetings & Events through relevant digital and social media channels.Engage in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and respond accordingly.Our ideal Marketing Manager is someone who has:Lots of creativityA keen eye for detailA strong understanding of current marketing trends within the lifestyle/luxury sectorSophisticated communication skillsStrong organization and multi-tasking skillsDigital marketing experiencePrevious experience working in five star, luxury hotels is an advantageA positive mindsetA genuine passion for working in hospitalityIn return for your hard work, we give you:World class training and development, including leadership developmentUnlimited career opportunities (internationally and locally)Bonus planEnhanced holiday entitlement - starting at 31 days (including bank holidays) and increasing with length of serviceCompany pension schemePrivate medical insuranceWellness and mental health programmesDiscounted accommodation, food and beverage in over 9,000 hotels all over the world!Discounts for your friends and familyABOUT THE PROPERTYW Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.
