What You'll Do
As a Marketing Director within BCG’s Marketing, Sales & Pricing Practice Area (PA), you will collaborate with PA leadership and senior leadership of BCG’s global marketing function to devise, direct and execute complex marketing and communication strategies both internally and externally. You will act as a thought partner to MSP’s Chief Marketing Officer, and collaborate with MSP’s Global Leadership Team.
In this role, you will demonstrate content mastery and bring a robust point of view to publication and content initiatives, while delivering against multi-channel specific ROMI KPIs. You will play an active role on the editorial committee for PA specific publications. You will also be involved in driving BCG’s cross-PA marketing offering on platforms like Perspectives, bcg.com, etc; working closely with PAs and global marketing on conceptualization, execution and maintenance.
You will lead the strategy for engaging key client audiences at seat-at-the-table events & through partnerships throughout the year. This includes initiatives such as supporting the preparation for flagship external marketing activations (e.g. Cannes Lions, Dreamforce), helping to drive executive network roundtables, and supporting the development of key target partnerships. Responsibilities also include advancing our CRM database and leveraging for insights and actions, overseeing an analytics program to inform meaningful data-driven marketing decisions and connected commercial opportunities, and efficiently managing a marketing budget. You will act as a manager or coach to less tenured Marketing Managers, and you’re expected to leverage a strong external network within the marketing community.

* Operating effectively in a highly matrixed organization and fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and way forward may be unclear – you drive for clarity
* Complex project management, driving on-time deliverables, anticipating and managing risks
* Keeping a strategic perspective while executing tactical elements, staying organized amidst a high volume of complex projects and stakeholders
* Managing multiple senior stakeholders, building consensus, persuading and negotiating while being a strong team player across seniority levels – with a strong presence and maturity
* Owning marketing and communication topics in leadership team meetings (as needed on behalf of Chief Marketing Officer)
* Leveraging a comprehensive external network within the marketing community

What You'll Bring
* 10-12+ years of relevant experience – including marketing & communications experience in a fast-paced environment; consulting/professional services experience a plus (ideally BCG experience)
* Master's degree preferred
* Role related certifications preferred
* Demonstrated thought leadership; ability to drive significant impact; act as change agent
* Fluent, polished command of English language (verbal & written) – native speaker preferred
* Ability to analyze effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities
* Displaying a strong work ethic, service-mentality, and autonomous drive
* Demonstrated superior expertise and leadership skills; ability to manage risk accordingly

Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently. As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
