About the role Working hand in hand with our Business Consultants and Data Architects, you will help delivering the finest offerings for analytics, data science and machine learning. Your Data Scientist role as member of the xTech Centre of Excellence at BIP will involve: Supporting customers to understand how to improve their businesses using the right AI offerings. Listening and identifying the client's requirements. Delivering projects based on our data science offerings. Interact with software developers and architects internally as part of our global xTech community, with client suppliers and staff Combine strategic and analytical thinking in relation to business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. This role is a Hybrid role, the successful person will need to be flexible to travel to client sites as required and have the ability to travel to London 1-2 times per month for team and company events. Requirements: Bip UK are a disability confident employer, and we interview every disabled applicant (As defined in the Equality Act 2010) that meets the minimum criteria for the job: Basic understanding of Data Science and light data development skills—you will need to be able to deliver technical content and at the same time bridge that technical knowledge with business discussions in non-jargon language. Basic experience in a Data Analytics role (Data Science, Data Analytics or ML). Additional requirements Quantitative degree (i.e., Maths, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or Data Science). A can-do attitude that always puts the customers first and helps gain the position of Trusted Advisor. Experience working with Agile frameworks is considered a plus. Experience in Data Visualisation and Data engineering is considered a plus. Proven experience working with customer data & personalisation An understanding of and experience with machine learning techniques is considered a plus.
