About the Role

Here at Howden Group Holdings, we are transforming the way we deliver HR services to our business, and this is an exciting time to join our evolving HR function as we look to drive commercially aligned and strategic HR support to our stakeholders.

Reporting to the Workday Programme Lead, the HR Data Analyst manage and analyse employee data as part of the deployment of Workday across the globe, working with the local and technical teams, as well as other HR Data Analysts to ensure consistency, clarity and accuracy across each data set.

The successful incumbent will bring with them prior experience of managing large data sets, and will be entrepreneurial in their methods for obtaining, understanding and verifying data. They will have the ability to understand and reflect business priorities in their approach to data management and reporting. Additionally, they will contribute to data-driven decision-making, process optimisation, and overall HR strategy alignment.

Key Accountabilities

Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage tools to gather and manipulate HR data, conducting comprehensive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Perform data collection, cleansing, reconciliation and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Translate complex data requirements into easily digestible formats for diverse audiences, including local HR teams and key programme stakeholders. Work closely with peers in the project team to drive data accuracy and suitability for Workday set up. Regularly audit data to identify and resolve discrepancies Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement within Workday project operations. Leveraging your Workday expertise and stakeholder management skills, partner with the technical team to streamline workflows. Help key users to audit their data and maintain data integrity. Identify data issues/risks and raise through the appropriate channels. Build knowledge and share data expertise and techniques to cultivate a data driven culture across the wider HR team. Monitor data to ensure system integrity and consistency and identify measures to address any gaps. Carrying out quality assurance activity including data audits, identifying, and addressing data quality issues to ensure data integrity standards are identified, communicated, and adhered to effectively.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Extraordinary attention to detail. An inquisitive and challenging mind, with an interest in questioning and improving the as-is. Proactive, “can do” attitude with high levels of motivation and drive with the ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while managing multiple deliverables with strong attention to detail. Solid communication skills; ability to synthesise and communicate information from a wide variety of sources. Strong interpersonal and engagement skills; ability to deal with stakeholders throughout the business and able to present information in a clear way to different audiences. A team player, able to work independently, but also to contribute to the wider team and department. Experience in Workday deployments, including testing, cutover and integrations, with a broad understanding of the Workday data fields is desirable. Experience of Power BI and a knowledge of SQL / Python would be advantageous.
