Job Title:Contract Analytics Engineer (DBT & Snowflake Specialist)
Location:Hybrid (at least 1 day per week in London)
Contract Length:6 Months
Rate:Up to £575 per day (Outside IR35)


We are seeking an experiencedAnalytics Engineerwith deep expertise inDBT (Data Build Tool) Core and Snowflaketo join a fast-moving data team on a6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project, leveraging your skills indata modelling, data analysis, and Snowflaketo drive actionable insights for a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimiseDBTmodels to transform raw data into valuable analytics-ready datasets. Utilise your in-depth knowledge ofDBT Coreto upskill, train and mentor the team Implement scalabledata modellingsolutions to support business intelligence and analytical needs. Collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data workflows. Work withSnowflaketo manage and optimise cloud-based data warehouse solutions. Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and performance tuning. Provide documentation and best practices to support ongoing data initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as anAnalytics EngineerorData Engineerwith a strong focus onDBT Core. Expertise indata modelling,SQL, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights. Hands-on experience withSnowflakeand cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex datasets. Knowledge of best practices in data engineering, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in acontracting environment.
