A Bit About the Job:
Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and SQL.
Collaborate with consultants and senior engineers to embed best practices and evolve into a high-performing, self-sufficient team.
Operate within a structured delivery model aligned to key business areas such as Exposure Management, Pricing, and Data Insights.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support reporting, analytics, and strategic initiatives.
Enhance data quality, documentation, and lineage to ensure transparency, traceability, and trust in our data assets.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; familiarity with Python is a plus.
Hands-on experience in data pipeline development and continuous delivery, ideally using Snowflake and/or DBT.
Strong grasp of cloud-based data engineering conceptsand modern best practices.
Expertise in data quality assessment and documentation, including profiling, anomaly detection, and schema management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders; experience in general insurance or the Lloyd’s/London Market is desirable.

Startingsalarybetween £50,000 - £60,000 London based or £40,000 - £50,000 National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
