Data EngineerSummary:

This is a leading multi-asset fund focused on global macro asset classes to generate uncorrelated returns. Technology here is highly valued and they're looking to grow the team with a highly skilled Data Engineer in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of the data platform, ensuring the availability, reliability, and integrity of data. This highly impactful role offers the opportunity to build relationships directly with the front office and technology teams.

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of data types with significant opportunities to master different practices, tools and skills. You'll draw on your knowledge and insight to solve interesting real-world data challenges across multiple asset classes.

Requirements:

Experience in a data specialist role, a passion for working with data and helping stakeholders Highly proficient in SQL, Python and Apache Spark with demonstrable work experience using these tools in a production context Minimum degree inputer Science - or a related field - from a Russell Group university (or equivalent)


Desirable:
Databricks and Microsoft Azure experience is a plus Financial Services experience a bonus, but is not essential
