  • Working closely with data architects, analysts, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Creating well-modelled datasets to support Power BI and wider analytics use cases
  • Improving data quality, validation, monitoring, and performance
  • Ensuring data is handled securely and in line with GDPR and best practice
  • Helping lay the foundations for future AI and machine learning initiatives

What's on offer

  • Opportunity to join at an introductory stage of a long-term data transformation
  • High-impact role with visibility across the organisation
  • Modern cloud data stack with strong investment in tooling
  • Collaborative, supportive technology environment
  • An 18-month FTC offering stability while working on meaningful, large-scale projects

Key experience

  • 5+ years' experience in data engineering or backend data roles
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric)
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, HR, Finance)
  • A solid understanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas)
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and monitoring in a data context
  • Confidence working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • A good understanding of data security and GDPR

Where to Advertise Machine Learning Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise machine learning jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach ML, MLOps and deep learning engineering talent. The candidate pool is small, highly specialised and in demand across AI labs, financial services, healthcare, autonomous systems and consumer technology simultaneously. Machine learning engineers and researchers move between roles through professional networks, conference communities and specialist platforms — not general job boards where ML roles compete with unrelated software engineering positions for the same audience. This guide, published by MachineLearningJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise machine learning roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
