Data Analyst – Up to £40k – 12-month FTC – Fully Remote


We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join a high-performing data transformation team working on a significant digital transformation project within the public sector.


This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a combination of strong analytical ability, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills. You’ll lead and support a small team, collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organisations, and play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, quality, and transformation across a wide range of datasets.


You’ll need strong Excel skills (including advanced functions), confidence in managing relationships across both technical and non-technical teams, and experience delivering high-quality work in a remote-first environment.


Key Requirements:

  • Confident line manager with experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
  • Experienced in analysing, transforming and validating datasets
  • Strong stakeholder management (preferably with local authorities)
  • Analyse, transform, and validate large datasets across multiple sources.
  • Use Excel to conduct detailed analysis and implement robust quality control checks.
  • Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • ETL
  • Experience with geospatial data or tools (e.g. FME, QGIS, ArcGIS, etc).


Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 12-month FTC

Salary: Up to £40k
