Control & ML Engineer

5V Tech is collaborating with a pioneering company at the cutting edge of robotics and medical technology. This fast-growing organisation is developing next-generation wearable devices designed to enhance mobility and independence for individuals with limited movement.

They're now looking for aControl & ML Engineerto join their talented R&D team in Paris, working on advanced algorithms that drive real-world impact.

This is a unique opportunity to blend robotics, AI, and applied mathematics in a purpose-driven environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and improving control algorithms using techniques such as linear, nonlinear, and model predictive control
  • Training hybrid and end-to-end policies using reinforcement learning
  • Developing accurate simulation models and enhancing system realism
  • Writing efficient, production-level code in both C++ and Python
  • Building algorithms for state estimation and motion trajectory optimisation
  • Participating in real-world testing with hardware teams on robotic systems

What we’re looking for:

  • Masters Degree or PhD in Control Engineering, Machine Learning, Robotics, Applied Mathematics or a similar field
  • Strong background in robotics control systems and/or machine learning for real-time applications
  • Proficient in Python and C++
  • Solid knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and sensor fusion
