About the Role

We are seeking aGenAI Software Engineerto join ourAI Innovation Team, focusing on building and managing the Generative AI platform for PatentSight+. This role involves tackling large-scale engineering challenges in the cloud and leveraging cutting-edge LLMs and toolchains to solve user problems across the board. We're after creative, self-motivated individuals with experience in building large-scale platforms, data, and machine learning. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, product teams, and stakeholders globally to drive forward innovative solutions.



Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reliable software solutions to support the Generative AI platform.
  • Collaborate closely with other development teams, data scientists, and subject matter experts to integrate GenAI functionalities into scalable software systems.
  • Ensure all software aligns with security standards and follows SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
  • Optimise the platform for large-scale operations while continuing to innovate and incorporate new GenAI capabilities.
  • Implement and fine-tune Generative AI models to address specific user needs, improving performance and reliability.
  • Work on cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment and operation of the AI platform.
  • Monitor and enhance software performance to ensure stability and efficiency at scale.
  • Stay updated with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying them to enhance platform features.



Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on experience with Python and its associated toolchains for software development.
  • Proficient in designing, building, and running large-scale platforms with experience in distributed systems.
  • Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with proven experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications.
  • Demonstrate understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages, specifically JavaScript and TypeScript for backend development.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, particularly React.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases) for seamless machine learning model deployment and monitoring.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).


Nice to Have:

  • Experience withLangChain / LlamaIndex,vector databases (e.g., FAISS),fine-tuningmodels on domain-specific data.
  • Exposure topatent dataor intellectual property markets.
  • Experience withSQL,ETL processes, anddata orchestrationtools (e.g.Azure Data Factory,Talend).
