TalentCo is growing - Join us as our first dedicated Tech Recruiter!

At TalentCo, we build world-class teams for some of the UK’s most exciting startups, scale-ups, and tech ventures, specialising in Go-To-Market and Tech hiring. We work extremely closely with a growing portfolio of fantastic clients on an exclusive-contingent basis and we’re looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual to join us as the third member of our team.

As TalentCo’s Senior Tech Recruiter, you’ll play a key dual role of bringing on new clients across the startup, scale-up and wider tech landscape, while also owning delivery of all tech hiring into existing and future clients.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced 360 technology recruiter to take ultimate ownership of their career, joining an early-stage recruitment business as employee number 3, with an enormous opportunity to influence and impact our continued success.

Why Join TalentCo?

Join as employee #3 and help shape TalentCo’s future, as we approach 24 months as a business. Your work will directly influence our success and the success and growth of our clients.

We work with amazing clients across DeepTech, HealthTech, AI, MLOps, EdTech, HRTech, DataTech, AdTech and Consumer and you’ll be owning all technical hiring including software engineering, data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

We already have a deep network within the UK startup space from our past-lives in the in-house talent world, and a growing reputation as a trusted agency partner, so you won’t be starting from scratch when it comes to winning new business.

You’ll see rapid growth in both your career and your earning potential. If you’re meeting the high standards we set and surpassing your targets, you can progress as quickly as your ambition will allow.

We have a high-trust and high-autonomy culture, so this role can be based fully-remote or remote-first. Currently we work together in-person in London 1 day a week out of choice, but we’re totally flexible to individual circumstances, so this role is perfect for a top performer who is bored of wasting their time commuting to and from an office.

What You’ll Do

  • Win & Grow New Clients- Drive new business, build strong client relationships, and expand TalentCo’s growing presence in the tech startup and scale-up space.
  • Find, Engage & Place Top Tech Talent- Use LinkedIn, your personal network, industry communities and other sourcing strategies to connect high-calibre tech candidates with our current and future clients.
  • Provide World Class Candidate Experience- We continue to win a huge amount of repeat business based on our successful (and unsuccessful) hires becoming huge advocates of TalentCo during their hiring process. You will be expected to match our incredibly high standards when it comes to candidate experience.
  • Become A Technology Expert- Tech at TalentCo encompasses software engineering, engineering leadership, data, artificial intelligence, machine learning and the occasional product hire, so while you don’t need to be a specialist in all of these, you need to be dead-set on becoming an expert at hiring across all of these areas once onboarded.

You’re A Great Fit If…

  • You’ve got a few years of agency tech recruitment under your belt, but want to build something amazing in a much smaller environment where the opportunity to impact and earn is enormous.
  • You’re ambitious, an over-achiever and goal-focused, with the drive to make a meaningful impact at an early-stage recruitment startup - you want to put in an outsized effort for an outsized reward.
  • You much prefer the thought of working in a close-knit team than within a large corporation, but understand the autonomy and ownership required from you to thrive in a small team like ours.
  • You’re a people-focused individual who will enjoy regularly meeting candidates and clients, building lasting relationships with them and regularly delighting both.
