About the job you’re considering

Senior Machine Learning Developer - Stevenage/Hybrid

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior AI/ML Developer to join our team at the forefront of designing cutting-edge solutions in the Telco industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models to solve complex problems and drive innovation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable AI/ML solutions.

 

Hybrid working:The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.​

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: ​

Your role

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and solutions, including LLMs and GenAI.
• Perform feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance.
• Select and implement appropriate AI/ML algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning models.
• Train, evaluate, and optimize models using machine learning techniques
• Deploy models to production environments, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Monitor model performance and define strategies for identifying drift; retrain or refine models as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models with business applications and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.

Your skills and experience​

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development
• Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and techniques, including LLMs, GenAI, and automated AI systems.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
• Ability to work independently and lead projects from inception to deployment.
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field is preferred.

Your security clearance
