WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY


We are looking for talented engineers to join our team as Senior Frontend Engineer and work on exciting projects that involve developing web interface for visualizing data collected from IoT devices that monitors the electrical grid, visualization of current assets and their displacement, etc.


As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you can expect to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop cutting – edge solutions. Day to day, you"ll be working on developing and maintaining web UIs and dashboards that enable data visualization and analysis, deployment pipelines, infrastructure challenges and much more. You will be in close collaboration with Backend engineers, Data engineers, CloudOps and Product Owners and Scrum masters.


The team is working on a system that monitors and analyses the state of the electrical grid and sends out alerts when faults or power disruptions occur, helping keep the lights on for end consumers. It also provides comprehensive analysis for the assets based on the various data that are coming from the entire energy system. You"ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and tools, including Vue.js, Mapbox, Plotly, Docker & Kubernetes. You"ll be encouraged to stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in the industry, and to share your knowledge and ideas with the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and development of reusable frontend framework components
  • Design and development of frontend Web UI SaaS applications
  • Migration of legacy web UI applications to modern JS frameworks
  • Contribution to Camlin's software development strategies
  • Participation in Agile Scrum and design meetings
  • Governance of web application CI/CD pipelines
  • Governance of web application software quality (e.g. unit tests, SAST, SCA)
  • Design and development of web application security
  • Technical mentorship of frontend engineers


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • At least 6 years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer
  • Experience with Vue.js (or a similar modern JS framework)
  • Experience mentoring and leading engineering team
  • Experience with test libraries, such as Jest
  • Practical knowledge of modern web application deployment infrastructures
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC


DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Bachelor"s degree in computer software engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience designing responsive UI/UX solutions
  • Experience designing reusable UI/UX frameworks
  • Experience building SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of secure software development principles
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with external monitoring tools
