A pioneering AI-driven drug discovery company is seeking aSenior Director of Business Developmentto lead strategic growth initiatives, build high-value partnerships, and drive revenue expansion. About the Role


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand partnerships with biotech, pharma, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including collaborations, licensing deals, and strategic alliances.
  • Work closely with scientific, product, and executive teams to develop compelling value propositions and commercial strategies.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and meetings to enhance visibility and build relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform business development efforts.
  • Support fundraising and investor engagement efforts where necessary.


Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors.
  • Strong understanding of drug discovery, computational biology, or related technology-driven therapeutic approaches.
  • Extensive network within the biotech and pharma industry, with experience in structuring and closing high-value deals.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate scientific advancements into commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (PhD, MBA) is a plus.
