Your new role

This organisation is looking for a technically hands-on, business-minded Senior Insights and Data Analyst who thrives on turningplex data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and strategic growth.You'll collaborate across all departments to help embed a data-informed culture across our business.
This is not just a reporting role, it's about seeing the bigger picture, connecting the dots, and helping the business make smarter, faster decisions.You'll work closely with the Finance Director and Business Change Manager to deliver reporting, analysis and decision support that helps them improve their business performance and support their long-term ambition to double output by 2030.As they mature their data capability, this role will also play a critical part in understanding business requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring their data and insights directly translate into business action and operational improvements.
Provide insights that drive performance and decisionsBuild clear dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and ExcelAnalyse trends and risks through data storytellingIdentify issues and opportunities with stakeholder inputTranslate business needs into data-driven insightsLead effective workshops and solve problems collaborativelyDeliver clear reports and presentations to senior and external stakeholdersBridgemunication between technical teams and business users

What you'll need to succeed

Degree qualified in a relevant field ( Maths, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Studies) Proven senior level experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or business analysis role with strong Power BI, Excel and SQL capabilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to "get to the root" of business problems Strong data manipulation and visualisation skills Excellent written and verbalmunication and able to presentplex findings simply and clearly Strong understanding of business processes and performance drivers Experience with stakeholder management and requirements gathering Experience creating intuitive dashboards and visual outputs in Power BI to engage a range of audiences Understanding of business case development and cost-benefit analysis Knowledge of project management methodologies and UAT coordination Understanding of CRM or ERP data structures-Coins ERP is a bonus

Desirable SkillsKnowledge of housing, construction or property sectorsExperience with process mapping tools such as VisioExperience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing principlesUnderstanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecastingExperience working with finance teams and financial reportingKnowledge of dataernance principles
