Overview

We are now recruiting an exciting new position for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Nutrition Data Team to take lead of our retail analytics and product insights functions. You will be responsible for driving actionable business insights through data whilst managing data driven projects across various teams. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a small team of data analysts, managing workloads across your team.


Responsibilities

  • Optimising web conversion rates and understanding the main factors affecting site performance on any given day.
  • Monitor customer journeys on site to gauge optimisation opportunities and understand customer demand.
  • Understand customer lifecycles; average purchase lengths, customer audiences and propensity to repurchase.
  • Using A/B testing to optimise performance of Marketing Initiatives.
  • Advising on marketing budgets and the most efficient ways to spend to maximise site performance.
  • Build data pipelines from both internal and external data sources to feed self-service reporting across Tableau and Automated Email Reports.
  • Promote the use of data to drive business strategy and cultivate a data-driven culture across the organisation.
  • Use SQL and BigQuery to query internal databases and provide data for projects ranging from Ad-Hoc analysis to building data pipelines for automated reporting.
  • Build reliable data structures and pipelines against external data sources across retail partners and market insight partners.
  • Collaborate with retail, marketing and trading teams to identify opportunities to drive positive strategic change.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations with clear and concise insights and communications.
  • Mentor and lead other analysts, ensuring workloads are manageable and best practices in data presentation and coding are followed.
  • Collaborate across teams as an approachable and supportive member of the organisation.
  • Demonstrate a passion for data and champion the use of data across the business with attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and challenge the status quo when backed by data.

Qualifications

  • Experienced using SQL, Excel, Google Analytics and Python.
  • Strong experience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
