As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing,developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Youwill work closely with other developers, UX/UI designers andstakeholders to ensure that our products meet the higheststandards. Your expertise in C#, .NET, React and Azure will becrucial in driving our technology initiatives forward.The SeniorDeveloper is a key role within BDO IT’s Solutions Development teamand reports to either a Lead Developer or the Solutions DevelopmentSenior Manager. You’ll also: Act as a hands-on full-stack developerwith strong front-end development skills and a good understandingof UX.Manage third-party developers or full-time employees asrequired.Collaborate with the Solution Development management teamto plan and schedule work, manage the pipeline and backlog,maintain best practices and high-quality coding standards, andensure optimum productivity across the team.Build, maintain andsupport both enterprise and client-facing applications.Work withBusiness Relationship Managers, Solution Designers and the Businessto turn concepts into practical solutions for relevant businesschallenges.Develop software using modern DevOps methodologies toincrease efficiency and productivity.Scan and leveragecross-industry trends in new and emerging technologies such asartificial intelligence, machine learning and data science to applyin the context of accountancy and professional services.Provideproactive maintenance on support issues to ensure excellent clientservice.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, designand ship new features.Mentor and guide junior and mid-leveldevelopers, fostering a culture of continuous learning andimprovement.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understandrequirements and provide technical insights.Lead by example infollowing best practices and coding standards.Participate in codereviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge. You’ll besomeone with: Proven hands-on track record of successfully buildingand delivering digital products (web apps and services) to marketusing agile methodologies. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, Reactand Azure.Other development skillsets: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AzurePaaS (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure AppService, Azure Service Bus), ARM/Bicep templates,SharePoint.Demonstrable creative flair, attention to detail,tenacity and good problem-solving skills.Proven experience infull-stack development.A solid understanding of softwaredevelopment principles and methodologies.Experience with DevSecOpspractices and secure coding.Familiarity with automated testingapproaches and tools.The ability to work in an agile environmentand adapt to changing requirements.Relevant certifications insoftware development or cloud technologies.
