Data Engineer Opportunity – Global Asset Management Firm

Join a leading asset management firm’s Data Office team, contributing to the future of financial services. As a Data Engineer, you'll work with talented professionals to build and maintain robust data infrastructure, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Extract, transform, and load data into a modern data lakehouse.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using DBT, Spark, AWS Glue, and Airflow.
• Create data marts and cubes for business intelligence.
• Automate data quality checks to ensure data accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years in data engineering with strong Python and SQL skills.
• Knowledge of lakehouse architectures (Dremio, Snowflake, Iceberg, PySpark).
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, ECS, EC2/Fargate) is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and an understanding of financial markets.

Hybrid Model:Minimum of 2 days per week in the London office.
