We are looking for a Senior Data Analystto join us at our client site in Heathrow.


The Senior Data Analyst will play an important role within the planning and consultation service areas of the Heathrow Logistics Integrator (HLI) and Hinkley Point C (HPC) Contracts. The role is critical to future planning, to support business decisions and infrastructure development programmes across a wide geographical area. 


The role requirements will include research and development, delivering tangible metrics from multiple data feeds as instructed by infrastructure directors. You will work closely with the WJ Business Intelligence Team, Heathrow's Digital Asset Integration team and operational teams at Hinkley Point C to develop our digital products and services.

Pay: £48,000 to £52,000


Full time hours: 5 Days a week - 08:30 to 17:00

A typical day in the life as a Senior Data Analyst:

Be prepared to lead and support apprenticeships through data development in meeting HAL Academy specified goals and objectives.


Be prepared to lead management teams through data analysis sessions on site.
Analyse data, draw conclusions, and develop solutions to address business problems.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to fully understand data content.
Support infra operations with prompt modelling and data query responses.
Identify areas to increase efficiency and adopt automation of processes.
Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
Monitor and audit data quality. This should be done in conjunction with other data analysts from across the business to share and cross-pollinate knowledge.
Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data.
Lead and innovate in design and development of infrastructure digital tools.
Ensure adherence to data privacy and information security regulations, collaborating with the Information Governance team.

What are we looking for?

Excellent analytical/diagnostic skills with data analysis and report writing experience.


Excellent numerical and analytical skills, understanding of second and third order effect to the business.
Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
Ability to use multiple forms of data and code to effectively advance innovation working from a central digital development strategy.
Ability to establish and install new policies and processes.
Analyse data, draw conclusions, and develop solutions to address business problems.
the ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations at short notice in response to client demand.
