About Finance at THG

Finance at THG is a dynamic and evolving team, covering everything from accounts receivable and payable to treasury, tax, internal audit and dedicated commercial teams for each division: Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands. As THG grows and takes on new ventures, our finance team supports every step of the way. About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst will report into the Head of FP&A in the Beauty division, you will also partner up with other functions outside of finance and play a pivotal role in the way data is used within the Beauty division. In order to really know what drives the business, you will define ways to measure and report on the key indicators of it.

The role involves interaction across all key business functions; from trading and marketing teams, through to supply chain and merchandising teams. Ensuring that decisions being made across the business are driving the desired commercial outcome.

Responsibilities:

Play a lead role on embedding analytics products in processes and decisions Owning the data strategy and implementing change Building bespoke automated reports in Power BI Automating reporting by writing and reviewing SQL Create predictive forecasts, such as anticipated revenue growth Playing a pivotal role between finance teams and BI / Data teams Ensuring deliverables and written communications are accurate, succinct, and clear Assisting with troubleshooting data issues, validating result sets, recommending, and implementing process improvements

Requirements:

3-5 years experience in an Analyst role Data focused professional with an analytical mind-set, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business and have strong communication skills Demonstrable experience and knowledge of data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques Advanced proficiency with SQL - (required) Advanced proficiency with Excel - (required) Advanced proficiency with Power BI - (required) Experience with programming languages (Python/R) – (advantageous) Experience working within a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change; have a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
