Recognizing the increasing demands placed on vendors and sellers by platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, and Walmart, The Hawker’s Club provides tailored services to address these challenges.
By partnering closely with clients throughout their ecommerce journey, The Hawker’s Club assists businesses in both adopting and thriving within the evolving marketplace landscape.
Position: Senior Data Analyst
Salary: $4000 to $4500 monthly
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Remote
About the Role As our Senior Data Analyst, the purpose is to provide the business with actionable insights derived from complex data analyses. This position is going to be working closely with the 2 co-founders of the business in validating service development hypotheses and building complex analytical models to prove or disprove the hypotheses.
Working Hours: Fully remote and full-time role. Flexible working hours with a minimum overlap with 8 AM – noon Central US time.
Main Duties Utilize advanced analytics to solve complex problems and generate actionable insights that can be used to drive business decisions.
Extract and analyze large volumes of data from various internal and external sources.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can significantly influence business decisions and strategies.
Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to test hypotheses related to product features, and current and future service offerings.
Create intuitive visualizations and detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Develop solutions that align with the overall business goals and collaborate on the implementation of these solutions to ensure they meet the intended objectives.
Work closely with various business units to understand their data needs and challenges.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with SQL and familiarity with database management practices to handle and query large datasets efficiently.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and libraries such as scikit-learn.
Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools to interpret data and present insights effectively.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within an e-commerce or a related industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for explaining complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and for collaborating effectively across different teams within the organization.

Experience in using advanced features of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) such as machine learning services and automated data pipeline tools.
Familiarity with big data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark is beneficial.
Skills in advanced data visualization tools and software beyond basic reporting—such as Tableau, Power BI, or even more sophisticated interactive web visualization frameworks like D3.js.
