ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Analyst at Townhouse, you'll play a pivotal role in our data-driven journey. Townhouse has a wealth of data following our growth across the UK and Internationally and we will need you to help us make sense of it to deliver insights that will help drive our strategy.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted role perfect for a generalist who enjoys wearing many hats and thrives in a start-up environment. You will play a key role in taking the Townhouse Data and Analytics department to the next level, working closely with IT and software teams to plan and implement improvements to reporting data. Day-to-day responsibilities will cover data manipulation, presentation, and analysis, with a strong emphasis on automation and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with different parts of the business, providing insights that will directly influence our strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle BAU weekly reporting and ensure data is presented in a clear and actionable manner.
Constantly explore new ways to improve existing processes and build innovative solutions from scratch with a particular focus on automating BAU weekly reporting and other general data processes to increase efficiency.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Develop and oversee the analysis of datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to business objectives and major projects.
Reporting and visualisation: Develop and deliver clear and impactful reports and visualisations to communicate key findings to stakeholders. Ensure that reports and dashboards are insightful and align with business objectives.
Working closely with stakeholders and colleagues to understand analytical requirements and integrate insights into workflows.
Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis, implementing and maintaining data governance best practices. Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
ABOUT YOU:
A generalist mindset, with a desire to take on multiple roles and build things from the ground up.
High proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets, pivot tables, data manipulation, and data visualisation.
Knowledge of SQL is required.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Big Query).
Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and conscientious.
Multi-site or consumer focused experience would be beneficial.
LOCATION:
Our office is based in Central London and we offer a hybrid working model, based on the requirements of the role.
