Position Overview

Key role in the EMEA E-commerce analytics team ensuring they will drive automating and creating the digital customer reports on a recurring basis for E-commerce to support Business Strategy. They will lead on enhancing the E-commerce DataMart encompassing data from various data sources to unlock, drive and deliver new insights, reporting, and advanced analytics to drive data driven business decisions. They will lead on solving complex business problems / challenges through data & web analytics and will story-tell the actionable insights to the key stakeholders to drive and encourage data-driven decision making. They will become an SME for two areas in E-commerce and will own and maintain that dialogue whilst also pro-actively delivering innovative and creative analytics in that space. They will build and collaborate with various business teams outside of E-commerce to drive new data initiatives. They will upskill /mentor the team in the new tools (i.e. Tableau) to expand the knowledge of the whole team.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Drive critical workflows for transforming, visualising, and extracting value from E-commerce Lead on designing and developing automated reports using SQL and Tableau to surface insights to the entire business and also drive self-serve analytics within E-commerce Collect and analyse data from various data sources, including website data, sales data, customer data and feedback, to identify trends and insights related to customer behaviour, product performance and market dynamics. Lead on quantitative, transactional based analysis: specific profile, segment, channel or store performance analysis from a customer standpoint to support the understanding of new Business challenges Lead on qualitative based analysis: find additional possible explanations for Business challenges within the current set of qualitative feedback from customers and browsers Insights and Analysis presentations: develop and deliver clear, insightful, and high-quality story-telling power point presentations to be shared with wider teams and key stakeholders You will collaborate with various business teams to drive new data initiatives within the E-commerce analytics team Pro-actively contribute to the wider departmental outputs. Mentor analysts within the team Key KPIs: Deliver data analysis and actionable insights through storytelling Deliver analytics actions within wider business projects Build critical data workflows to combine multiple data sources Lead smaller analytical projects from discovery to output delivery Power-user of SQL/Python, Dataiku & Tableau
