About the Role

A leading financial services client in London is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join their Information Security team. In this strategic position, you'll drive technology compliance initiatives by producing insightful management information through sophisticated dashboards and reporting. Collaborating with senior stakeholders, you'll help shape and inform critical decision-making for executive leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain advanced data visualization dashboards usingPowerBI
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, compliance gaps, and actionable insights
  • Spearhead automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency
  • Present compelling data narratives to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices


Requirements

  • 4-5 years'proven experience in Finance/Technology environments
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting on IT function data
  • Advanced PowerBI expertise with portfolio of successful implementations
  • Practical knowledge of IT metrics and DevSecOps frameworks
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional data visualization capabilities
  • Scripting and automation (e.g.Python, PowerShell, or equivalent)
  • Delivery within an Agile culture (e.g.Jira, Confluence, stories, sprints, backlogs)
  • Creating and maintaining MI dashboards (e.g. in Power BI)
  • Generating & delivering MI presentations to Committees/forums (written & verbal)
  • Technology degree essential
  • MSc in Data Analytics and security qualifications (ISACA, CISM, etc.) advantageous
