The role of Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, combines an exciting blend of business, data and technology, helping teams solve the toughest problems and empowering leaders to make more informed decisions. This exciting and business critical position requires expert-level proficiency in SQL, Power BI, data modelling, and analytics, combined with strong technical problem-solving capabilities and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences. In addition, the position requires someone with strong quantitative analysis expertise, who is flexible across technologies, drives innovation within the team, and possesses a deep curiosity to learn, determination to unearth trends in data and effectively communicate valuable insights to our leaders.


Your day to day


  • Support key stakeholders in structuring problems and opportunities and deliver insights and recommendations leveraging our data
  • Consulting with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Strategy) to discover, define and develop clear and actionable KPIs and findings to a wide range of business questions
  • Providing clear insights in a simple and understandable way through storytelling with data
  • Master complex data structures across multiple database environments (SSMS, Snowflake) with demonstrated expertise in advanced SQL query optimisation and automation
  • Architect and develop sophisticated business intelligence solutions using Power BI ecosystem (Dashboards, Paginated Reports) and advanced Excel modelling
  • Drive deep analytical insights through statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and advanced data visualisation
  • Develop complex analytical frameworks to solve mission-critical business problems, particularly around sales force compensation and performance metrics
  • Create and maintain advanced reporting systems that transform raw data into actionable business intelligence
  • Engineer automated solutions for recurring analyses and standardised reporting needs
  • Provide advanced technical and analytical mentorship to superusers and business stakeholders on BI tools and data interpretation
  • Support the peer BI tech team with technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Spearhead continuous improvement of BI processes and reporting capabilities
  • Optimize existing reports and dashboards for enhanced performance and user experience
  • Manage backlog of BI requests including adhoc


You will bring


  • Educated to Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience in a numerate field (Data Science / Business / Economics / Math’s / Statistics etc.)
  • Min. 5 years senior BI data analysis experience
  • Extensive proficiency in advanced SQL, with particular experience optimising complex queries across SSMS and Snowflake environments
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI ecosystem, including DAX, complex visualisations, and enterprise-level report development
  • Proven track record of building sophisticated analytical models and automated reporting solutions in Excel
  • Strong technical problem-solving capabilities and analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with Strategy and Finance teams is an advantage
  • Capable of communicating effectively across multiple cultures, with people who speak English as a second language. Speaking a second language yourself is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Python/R for advanced analytics and machine learning applications (desirable)
