The Senior Asset Data Analyst will lead a regional team to develop and manage major works investment plans, ensuring data accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with Decent Homes standards. The role requires advanced Excel and asset management system skills, strong housing sector knowledge, and close collaboration across internal teams to support a £3bn capital investment programme.

Description

Lead and support a regional team of data analysts to deliver accurate, insightful asset data and reporting aligned with strategic investment plans.

Develop and maintain multi-year major works investment programmes, ensuring alignment with Decent Homes standards, sustainability goals, and organisational priorities.

Manage requests for programme changes through a defined adds/omits process, ensuring timely updates and effective cross-team communication.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders during the pre-construction phase to ensure smooth handover to the delivery team and programme readiness.

Ensure the integrity and functionality of asset data systems (e.g., Keystone, NEC), leading continuous improvements and troubleshooting as needed.

Conduct in-depth data analysis and reporting, using advanced Excel and visualisation tools like Power BI to inform decision-making and drive performance.

Champion data quality, innovation, and best practices, setting a high standard for the wider asset strategy and analytics function.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly analytical asset data professional with at least three years of hands-on experience working with housing asset data and investment programmes. They will have advanced Excel skills, a deep understanding of asset management principles, and proven experience using systems such as Keystone, NEC, or similar to manage complex property data.

They will be confident leading a small team, able to engage effectively with a range of internal stakeholders, and comfortable translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. A background in housing associations, local authorities, or property management is desirable, along with a commitment to continuous improvement, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Competitive base salary
