In today’s demanding world, architecture must fulfil many needs and take on various roles, including energy efficiency, safety standards, durability, creativity, and value for money. As a result, architectural product manufacturers and designers are innovating with advanced cladding materials to meet these demands.

Located in Hastings, the successful apprentice will work with experts to develop skills in data management and sales.

The Package

  • Starting salary: £18,000 per annum, increasing to National Minimum/Living Wage after 12 months if applicable
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, with 1hr lunch
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Regular training and CPD opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Gain product knowledge of cladding materials and fixing systems to advise customers
  • Communicate with architects, contractors, and clients professionally via phone and email
  • Handle customer enquiries, process orders, quotations, and administrative tasks
  • Prepare take-offs and quotations using architectural drawings
  • Convert quotations to orders, manage project schedules, and liaise with operations for production and delivery
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Organize samples and literature as needed
  • Support sales and technical teams
  • Assist with additional duties as required by the Estimating Manager

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Eligibility

Applicants should demonstrate interest in data management, possess good communication skills, and be organized. The program is designed for those needing upskilling or reskilling, and candidates must meet UK eligibility criteria, including residency and work rights.
