About the job

As a Customer Marketing Program Manager at Stripe, you will be responsible for building and overseeing our customer case study pipeline and production, taking the lead on sourcing customers for our marquee events, and developing new programs to build and nurture our customer advocates. You will also collaborate closely with our global team to scale effective programs in your region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Case Study Pipeline & Production:
  • Partner closely with sales and customer success teams to identify high-potential customer stories and build a robust pipeline of case study opportunities
  • Work with external creative agencies to produce the written case study content, providing strategic direction, feedback, and edits to ensure a consistent, high-quality program
  • Develop social media amplification plans for each case study, writing compelling copy to help promote the customer stories across Stripe's channels
  • Present case study recommendations and updates in leadership team meetings, demonstrating strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Leverage tools like Hubble and Google Analytics to track the performance and impact of published case studies

Marquee Event Sourcing:
  • Take the lead on sourcing customers to speak at Stripe's flagship industry events and conferences
  • Pitch speaking opportunities to customers, manage logistics, and ensure a seamless experience for both the customer and event teams
  • Work closely with event and content teams to align on program goals and speaker needs
  • Cultivate a diverse roster of customer speakers that represent Stripe's breadth of industries and use cases

Building Customer Advocacy Programs:
  • Develop new initiatives to identify, engage, and nurture Stripe's most passionate customers as advocates
  • Design programs that provide exclusive opportunities, recognition, and community-building for our top advocates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advocacy activities into broader marketing and customer success efforts
  • Measure the impact of advocacy programs and continuously optimize to drive maximum value

Global Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the global customer marketing team to understand best practices and effective programs in other regions
  • Adapt and scale successful global initiatives to your local market, customizing as needed to fit regional dynamics
  • Share learnings and insights from your regional programs to help inform the global strategy

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer marketing, content production, or customer success
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and present effectively in leadership meetings
  • Copywriting and content creation expertise to develop engaging social media posts
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to craft compelling customer stories and build new advocacy initiatives
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools like Hubble and Google Analytics to measure and optimize the performance of marketing content
