Role summary

:

The Data Analyst is pivotal in providing insights and supporting continuous improvement for cost and service performance across our Regional and Depot Management Teams. Supporting execution and tracking of cost and service improvements by identifying, gathering, analysing data and making your insights accessible to internal stakeholders, through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports


Key responsibilities

Collecting, processing, and analysing operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in cost efficiency and service performance.


Designing and implementing analytical solutions to help solve cost, service & scanning with integrity improvement opportunities
Collaborating with colleagues to understand their business needs and providing insights and recommendations.
Assist in the design and execution of experiments to test new processes or service models, analysing results to determine impact and scalability.
Sharing best practice with colleagues to support cost, service and scanning with integrity improvement
Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data mining and analytics 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Intermediate/ Advanced Excel


Power BI knowledge
Working knowledge of Mailbase
Working knowledge of DX Express Cost Management systems such as CoFee
Good PC-based skills (MS Office)
Highly numerate

Good written and verbal communication skills


Ability to work at pace within challenging timescales
Calm and controlled, ability deliver rational, well considered output
A keen attention to detail
Organised, structured and able to manage multiple tasks well
