Job Description Join our team and youll be responsible for projects that will cover a broad range of topics, from working with engineers to implement event tracking on our platforms, all the way to generating data insights and building predictive models, ultimately helping our Product organisation deliver great products, which solve meaningful user problems. Working in the Product team, you will be working closely with Product Directors, Heads of Product, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and many other stakeholders to ensure we take data-driven product decisions at every step of the way, helping turn our Data and Product strategy into reality. Equally important, you will foster an environment of active support, collaboration and growth within your team, enabling all your team members to achieve their potential and progress on their chosen career paths. You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody. Your responsibilities: Orchestrate the scope, prioritization, and distribution of resources in your team across the many analytics projects. Manage the delivery process and set expectations with stakeholders for transparent and aligned project outcomes and timelines. Lead and drive on data deep-dive initiatives, partner with the Product function to discover opportunities and help prioritise the Product roadmap, and champion our 'always testing' culture, designing and developing experiments. Apply advanced Data Science techniques and supervise your team members in the development of machine learning models. Work closely with other Data Scientists and ML Engineers across the business to put these models in production. Innovate within existing or develop new value frameworks and champion these across the business, as well as help build a culture of data-informed decision making across the business. Be a key driver of defining the data and analytics strategy at Stepstone by working closely with other data teams across the business. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, emphasizing proactive interaction with marketing, engineering, and UX/UI teams to ensure holistic integration of data analytics strategies into product development processes. Mentor, coach, & line manage a diverse team of talented analysts. Qualifications Ideally 7 years of experience in either Insights Analytics, Product Analytics or Data Science.Relevant experience in managing a team of analysts or similar. An excellent communicator with the ability to engage effectively on complex topics, and present effectively to less technical audiences.Excellent business acumen and inclination towards strategic thinking. Embrace and champion change, able to keep and set the pace within a dynamic and diverse organisation. Educated to degree level or higher, preferably in a numerical field and/or statistical background. Technical requirements: Familiarity of Statistical concepts for Analytics.Hands-on coding experience with Python for Data Analytics. Experience with setting up and automating data pipelines, ETL processes, etc. Proficiency in PowerBI or Tableauand SQL, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics. Good understanding of how web analytics tracking is implemented.
