La Fosse is partnered with a leading insurance company who are looking for an experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to drive their AI innovation at scale.


They are looking for someone to lead a dynamic team in designing and deploying AI, ML, NLP, and Generative AI solutions that will shape business models and deliver tangible impact on profitability, sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end development of AI-driven solutions, from concept to execution.
  • Work with business leaders and domain experts to implement AI methodologies that solve complex challenges.
  • Oversee/mentor a team of Machine Learning engineers and Data Scientists, pioneering advancements in deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to develop AI-powered business models that drive growth and efficiency.


Your ideal background

  • 8-10+ years of AI leadership/engineering experience, with a track record of delivering business impact.
  • Deep expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models, NLP, and deep learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication.
  • Experience leading ML Engineers and Data Scientists in building AI models.
  • Familiarity with the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in the insurance or financial sector is beneficial.
