Performance Marketing Lead


Fussy are on a mission to banish single-use plastic from your bathroom. Having experienced exceptional growth since launching our full ecommerce offering, we are now looking for a talented individual to join the team as a Performance Marketing Lead. You will be instrumental in leading us through our next phase of growth through creative thinking backed up by data. 


The chosen candidate will work directly with the Head of Growth on defining and implementing our paid media strategy and be an important part of the wider marketing team. 


Recently named the UK’s Best-Eco Deodorant by Glamour magazine and having graced everywhere from the pages of Vogue to Holly Willoughby armpits, it’s an exciting time to join.


Responsibilities

  • Own the development, execution and reporting of best in class paid media campaigns across; Google (YouTube & Search), Meta, TikTok & Affiliate. With a focus on acquiring new subscription customers within a target CAC. 
  • Working with the inhouse team on amplifying influencers through; UGC content, branded content ads, account whitelisting & spark ads
  • Owning the process for developing paid media creative, working with the internal marketing team to ideate, prioritise and brief creatives to relevant parties
  • Drive recommendations for the strategic direction and tactical execution of paid media, including; bidding methodology, ad copy & landing page testing, audience strategy & extensive creative testing.
  • Develop and own the experimentation framework for all paid media activity. Develop experiment ideas with the team and prioritise based on impact and feasibility.
  • Champion a data driven and experimental growth culture at Fussy. Using data to find optimisation opportunities and improve the efficiency of our campaigns 
  • Work with the growth and wider Marketing team on cross channel initiatives including new product launches and retention strategy.
  • Develop your paid media knowledge further to ensure you’re at the forefront of the industry and always aware of the latest tactics and strategies to experiment with.


Who you are

  • Minimum 3 years experience working across Paid Search (Google & Bing) & Paid Social (TikTok & Meta) preferable on a DTC brand(s).
  • The thought of owning an idea from conception to execution fills you with excitement.
  • Data is your friend – you find it easy to use insights to back-up your instincts.
  • You’ll be comfortable working as a one-man-band or playing your part in a team.
  • Nothing gets by you - you have a no stone left unturned approach to every detail.
  • You’re a professional plate juggler (though perhaps not literally!) – having multiple projects on-the-go is the kind of thing that gets you out of bed in the morning.
  • You’re hungry to innovate - testing new methods and processes for Paid Media management.

We’re on a mission to banish single-use plastic from the bathroom, with simple, effective and convenient personal care products that are backed by science not buzzwords. After launching as the highest ever grossing deodorant worldwide on Kickstarter, we launched our full ecommerce offering in June last year.


Since then Fussy has experienced 300% MoM growth, been named the UK’s Best Eco-Deodorant in Glamour Magazine, featured on This Morning and most mainstream media outlets, put in place the foundations of a world-class team of employees and advisors and have prevented over 10,000 years worth of deodorants from ending up in landfill.


We are now looking to accelerate our growth into new products and territories. We as a brand have the responsibility, consumers have the power and it’s only together we can do this. Power to your pits!


Other Details

Term: Permanent

Salary: £45-65k depending on exp

Start date: ASAP

Days/Week: 5 days per week (2 days in the office) and flex time

Probationary Period: 3 month

Holiday: 25 plus holiday, training days, mental health and charity days, flexible working.
