Legal and General Investment Management’s Performance and Attribution team are looking to hire a Performance Data Analyst on a 6 month contract to help deliver timely and accurate data to LGIM’s Performance System.This role will see you responsible for data management and control tasks for the Performance and Attribution reporting team, processing data for internal and external funds, managing and fixing data queries raised and evaluating data sources, quality and flows and making recommendations and implementing improvements.What you'll be doing: Processing data for internal and external funds within B-One, and perform other ad hoc queries as required Managing and fixing data queries and issues raised by performance and attribution teams Completing all tasks within agreed deadlines ensuring appropriate procedures and controls are adhered to Providing an efficient and cost effective service to internal and external clients and management ensuring that the service is provided on a timely basis and in accordance with agreed service levels Ensuring appropriate controls and procedures are in place for all functions within the team and supporting documentation is up to date Continually seeking to understand and satisfy our clients (whether internal or external) requirements, developing procedures, processes and systems to support these requirements. Assisting with any new developments and projects to improve efficiency and productivity, raising the profile of the Performance Data team. Maintaining threshold competency status in line with FSA guidelines as necessary to carry out responsibilities, through completion of training and keeping update to date with market changes. QualificationsWho we're looking for: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data management and processing e.g. data storage and data lakes etc Demonstrated knowledge and use of data systems and tools e.g. Python, VBA, Excel, PoweBI etc A solid understanding of the financial data industry, various asset classes and data technologies An understanding of Fixed Income & Equity Attribution data is preferred The ability to meet strict deadlines/KPI’s & SLA’s Client focused and able to liaise with all levels of seniority An ability to identify & propose process improvements Interested or working towards Investment Related Qualification (IAQ/IMC/CIPM) Experience with performance, risk or operational functions in asset management firm is beneficial Performance and attribution system experience is desirable. E.g.
