Job Title: Data Analyst (Maternity Cover)
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Type: Maternity Cover (Potential for Permanent Role)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our client’s team for a 7-month maternity cover. This position may lead to a permanent role, depending on the business needs and individual performance. The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing high-quality data analysis, reporting, and technical support, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to various quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform statistical data analysis and prepare clear, concise reports to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Quality Management: Aid in the maintenance and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and adherence to relevant standards (ISO 17025).
  • Technical Support: Assist in answering technical queries from internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Manage controlled documentation and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Quality and Technical Manager and other teams to support accreditation processes and technical projects.
    Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in data analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Attention to detail with effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in quality management or technical environments (e.g., laboratories) is advantageous but not essential.
    Desirable Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 and UKAS accreditation processes.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory or technical role is a plus.
